| Name:Soifon Age: Unknown, though appears to be in her twenties. Series: BLEACH Species: Shinigami Gender: Female Occupation: Bodyguard-for-hire. Soifon is not a very caring person, nor will she ever be (for the present time, anyway). She tends to hold her large and more dynamic emotions (tears of sadness, emotional pain etc) in most of the time and lets only the basic to medium ones show on her face. Surprise, shock, frustration and anger are just a few that’ll pop up from time to time. Clear displays of anger are common though (an occasional kick given to an unfortunate minion etc). Otherwise, she retains a cool and tolerable demeanor under most circumstances, though this will readily shift a more outspoken and demanding demeanor. She expects people to follow orders and will readily discipline them for disobeying her or the orders (which generates fear, which may or may not be intended). Soifon is also very loyal, hard working and follows orders resolutely. She does have a very, very dry sense of humor that appears very rarely, though it usually only pops up around those she is familiar with. Around those she knows, Soifon’s cold demeanor is gentler, but only slightly. When in battle, she adds slight arrogance to her personality and appears more prideful. In fact, she is at ease most of the time should nothing exciting happens in a fight and she prefers to end things quickly should things continue as such. False Memories: Born to a family of nobles in Elysium who prided themselves on being the best there is in martial arts, swordsmanship and the concentration of chi (reaitsu) to cast spells (kidou), naturally, Shaolin Fon was pushed to become the very best she could. The deaths of her six older siblings (all brothers) when they left home to pursue careers among in the city’s harsh environment and people didn’t help her situation one bit. She worked hard, discarding her name of Shaolin Fon and adopted the codename ‘Soifon’ as part of the family tradition, entering her family’s many lines of work to decide on which profession to choose as her own. In the phase of choosing a profession, Soifon activated her own style of swordsmanship, the very art her family trained their members to achieve and perfect, which she did, forging her own sword and giving it a name. She also sharpened her other skills in the process. As soon as she achieved this, she was granted the white haori that marked her as a possible ‘sensei’ (should she ever be willing to be act as a role model) among the family’s ranks. Soifon settled into the profession of being a bodyguard, and once she gathered enough wealth (and made a name for herself), she moved out of the family’s large oriental compound in the upper Elysium levels and into the Elysium part of Chinatown into a compound of her own. She still works as a bodyguard to this day in the city and keeps in contact with her family (despite their meddling to marry the sole female sensei of their family off to a suitor and get some grandkids to further the Fon name).
